Can you believe it's been 30 years since Pope John Paul celebrated mass in that cornfield in Iowa? (How's that for a "Field of Dreams"?)

    Wow!...30 years!
    I was in college in Dubuque, IA and a group of us rode down there for the day...it was a real pilgrimage with all the sacrifices and yet such a powerful moment.
    I'm a consecrated religious (21 yrs)and priest (6 yrs); the graces of that day are with me still.
